The Guidelines for Evaluating Feasibility Studies (FS) for Solid Waste Management Projects (Available only in Bahasa)

The Guidelines for Evaluating Feasibility Studies (FS) for Solid Waste Management Projects provide a systematic, transparent, and decision-oriented framework for assessing the quality and implementation readiness of waste management projects. Adapted from the Five Case Model (5CM) to suit Indonesia's waste management context, the guideline integrates eleven analytical pillars covering strategic alignment, regulatory compliance, technical feasibility, market readiness, financial viability, institutional arrangements, environmental and social safeguards, risk management, and implementation readiness.

Beyond offering a comprehensive evaluation methodology, the publication introduces a decision-oriented evaluation approach that links assessment results to project readiness through the READY, CONDITIONAL, and NOT READY classifications. Serving as a practical reference for government institutions, financing agencies, reviewers, and project stakeholders, the guideline promotes evidence-based and consistent investment decisions, helping improve the quality, bankability, and successful implementation of solid waste management projects across Indonesia.
